Position Overview

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team. This full-time position focuses on early childhood and transition programs within the school system. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and supporting their developmental needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to early childhood and transitioning students within the educational setting.
  • Assess and evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' development and learning.
  • Implement therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and planning.
  • Provide training and resources to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working with early childhood and transition-aged students is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.
