About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at PRIDE Health in Coon Rapids, MN. As a key member of our Mother/Baby Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to new mothers and their babies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Mother/Baby Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on topics such as breastfeeding, newborn care, and maternal health.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of MN.
  • Experience working in a Mother/Baby Unit or similar setting.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.
