**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Sierra Health and Wellness. As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will be responsible for providing patient care and support in our inpatient facility.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide individualized resident care and medical support to clients as needed
* Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status
* Provide care according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies and procedures
* Prepare and monitor patient administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
* Monitor and report adverse reactions to medications and treatment to the RN and/or Physician
* Sign, date and perform all charting, record keeping and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures
* Utilize good infection control procedures. Utilize behavioral management and crisis intervention techniques.
* Ensure compliance with State licensing standards and accreditation standards
* Adhere to and uphold the policies and procedures of the company

**Requirements:**

* Current Psychiatric Technician (PT) license
* Excellent communication skills
* Basic computer skills
* Must have a valid Driver's License.
* Expert communication skills and counseling abilities
* Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds, working at distinct levels
* Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program and of consideration and respect of clients.
* Customer service oriented, professional attitude

**Compensation:**

* Hourly: $33.00-$40.00
