Shift: 12-hour shifts - 5 am - 5 pm or 5:30 am - 5:30 pm EST

Work Environment: On-site

Schedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory by identifying, labeling, and organizing materials and supplies; accurately record inventory locations.
  • Retrieve materials and supplies by verifying production orders and ensuring accuracy.
  • Support in-process inventory management by delivering and unpacking materials and supplies at workstations.
  • Document the disposition of materials and supplies by recording delivered units and their locations.
  • Process credit-return materials and supplies from production by verifying codes, lot numbers, and quantities; restock materials accordingly.
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
  • Record product shipments by documenting units dispatched.
  • Maintain material-handling equipment through regular inspections and minor repairs.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to analyze information, manage time effectively, and improve processes.
  • Experience: 0-3 years in a similar role.

The primary function of this role is to oversee internal material movements.

Key Duties Include:

  • Actively participate in maintaining site safety standards and housekeeping practices.
  • Become proficient in all relevant standard operating procedures.
  • Handle all material deliveries and movements between storage and operational areas.
  • Receive training in DOT and HazMat regulations; ensure compliance with safety protocols for chemical handling.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all job functions.
  • Adhere to established safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Engage in incident investigations and contribute to safety meetings.
  • Recognize hazards proactively and address EHS concerns.
  • Ensure proper load securement techniques are applied.
  • Be flexible to work various shifts as required.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with forklift operations is highly desirable; certification can be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs or one-third of body weight, whichever is less.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and effective communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in task execution.
