**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team at Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. This is a full-time position that requires a Registered Nurse with experience in infection prevention and control.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the infection prevention program within our long-term care facility. You will work closely with healthcare teams to identify, investigate, and report healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases. Your expertise will also be utilized to create, educate, and sustain infection prevention strategies across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of infection prevention principles, policies, and procedures. They must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff members and stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including holidays, sick leave, vacation time, and a 401(k) plan.

This is an immediately available opportunity. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Nursing.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective infection prevention programs to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections;
  • Conduct ongoing staff education and training on infection prevention practices and procedures;
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and report healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to infection prevention activities;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest infection prevention guidelines, standards, and regulations;

**Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN);
  • Current RN licensure;
  • Experience in long-term care and infection prevention;
  • Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC) preferred;
