Job Title: THRIVE Curriculum Writer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Curriculum Writer to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality mentoring and induction curricula for early career teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop curriculum components for THRIVE mentor program
  • Review existing mentoring programs and identify best practices
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop course content and supporting materials
  • Lead professional learning for mentors and teacher leaders
  • Pilot test components and refine curriculum based on feedback

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience designing and delivering curriculum for adult learners
  • Experience as a successful classroom teacher
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative communities and relationships
  • Strong content and pedagogical knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or higher degree in a related field
  • Experience as an instructional leader and/or campus administrator
  • Experience supporting bilingual, dual language, and/or special education teachers

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office conditions

Salary Range:

$29 - $44 per hour
