Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative graphics and digital media products that engage and inform our audience
  • Collaborate with our UI/UX designer to ensure seamless integration of graphics products with our knowledge management system
  • Design and implement graphics for a variety of written and digital products, including web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content
  • Ensure all products meet production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances
  • Conduct technical quality checks to ensure high-quality products
  • Manage approved concepts and build in HTML/CSS to ensure responsive design principles
  • Provide cartography support as needed to design thematic and reference maps
Requirements:
  • 18 years of experience with a BS or 10 years of experience with a MS
  • Demonstrated experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
  • Experience with front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
  • Experience with photography and video editing
  • Experience creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
  • Experience developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
  • Experience ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances
  • Experience conducting technical quality checks
