Job Summary

DarkStar Intelligence, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Graphic Designer to support a federal government client in Bethesda, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop graphics, digital media, and cartography products that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Utilize request management tools to provide swift and high-quality customer support for communication requests.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
  • Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content.
  • Ensure products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.
  • Conduct technical quality checks to ensure the highest level of quality.
  • Manage approved concepts and build in HTML/CSS to comply with responsive design principles.
  • Provide cartography support as needed to design thematic and reference maps.

Requirements
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required.
  • Experience with leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
  • Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS.
  • Photography and video editing.
  • Mentoring and training junior staff.
  • Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
  • Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.
  • Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.
  • Conducting technical quality checks.
