As a Quality Technician at Continental, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products. This position involves performing testing and analysis on production parts to determine root cause and provide information for corrective actions. You will also monitor production line data to focus and prioritize part analysis and investigations to protect the customer and lower scrap rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and analysis on production parts to determine root cause and provide information for corrective actions.
  • Monitor production line data to focus and prioritize part analysis and investigations to protect the customer and lower scrap rates.
  • Work with senior quality engineers, QAP, and FA operators to establish optimized production line analysis strategies and support accordingly.
  • Support plant and worldwide meetings as needed.
  • Plan and carry out special studies as needed to lower NOK and reject rates or gather data for changes to the process or product.
  • Maintain testing and analysis equipment and perform calibration activities.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this opening.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this opening.
  • Preferred requirements include an associates degree in a technical field and 1-2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive manufacturing experience, experience using SAP, and experience operating test and teardown equipment.
