Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator Spine Med Surg is a key member of the North Suburban Medical Center team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the Spine Med Surg nursing team. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Lead and manage the Spine Med Surg nursing team, including delegating tasks, providing guidance and support, and evaluating team performance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and nursing practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
  • Two to four years acute care/specialty nursing experience, with one to three years in a charge/supervisory position.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
