Key Responsibilities- Program Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate childcare staff, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
- Environment and Safety: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, families, and staff.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with parents and community partners to support children's individual needs and foster a sense of belonging and community.
- Compliance and Operations: Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, school district regulations, health and safety standards, and program policies and procedures.
- Program Management: Manage program budgets, enrollment, and administrative tasks effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience required in an Abbott preschool district and supervisory experience within an Abbott center, understanding of the CACFP requirements ECERS & TPOT assessments and Teaching Strategies Gold. Understanding of the NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Language: Bilingual a plus.
