Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and provide emotional support to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Transport patients to procedures, transfers, or discharge as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized patient room, adhering to infection control standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or 6 months of experience in direct Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse individuals and groups.
- Able to articulate and demonstrate commitment to the organization's philosophy, values, mission, and vision.
