Patient Care Assistant, Med Surg Float

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant, PCA to join our team at Trinity Health. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities- Respond to patient call lights and provide assistance or round on patients as needed.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, including showers, oral hygiene, and dressing/undressing.
- Transport patients for procedures, transfers, or discharge as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in patient rooms.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 6 months of experience as a direct Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.
- Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health.
