About the Job

The Electrical Systems Specialist will perform electrical testing, installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical testing, installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Conduct daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure code compliance and a reliable electrical system
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school education degree or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education or formal technical training highly desirable
  • Current Master Electrician's license preferred or at least 2 years journeyman experience
  • Thorough knowledge of general construction methods
  • Understanding of safe working practices for all voltages and equipment types
  • High proficiency in interpreting drawings, details, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Computer software and keyboard knowledge mandatory
