Position Overview

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a dedicated and experienced faculty member for a full-time role within the Department of Pediatrics, specializing in Pediatric Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. This position is open to candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive clinical services to children with pediatric rheumatologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Inpatient Consultations: Conduct inpatient consultations at a leading children's hospital.
  • Education: Engage in the teaching and mentorship of medical trainees and students.
  • Program Development: Play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing the pediatric rheumatology program.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a dynamic academic environment to advance clinical, educational, and research objectives.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Possess a medical doctorate or equivalent qualification.
  2. Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
  3. Have completed an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship and be Board certified or eligible.
