Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Assistant to join our team at Eskaton. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the set-up and break-down of buffet tables and wait stations
  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans in accordance with our ware washing policy
  • Maintain the dish machine and sanitization logs
  • Assist the supervisor/manager/director with assigned tasks as directed
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the department in accordance with our posted cleaning schedule
  • Report damage or problems to the supervisor/maintenance
  • Keep the supervisor/manager informed of questions, reactions, comments, or problems that may arise
  • Familiarize yourself with our food service disaster plan
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment, preferred
