Job Title: PT Deli Associate

Job Summary

We're seeking a PT Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you'll be responsible for handling and possessing knowledge of all deli products. You'll receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, package product, and stock shelves, cases, and bins, while maintaining neat attractive conditions and properly signed displays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service and assist customers with their needs.
  • Receive, process, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
  • Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
  • Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
  • Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
  • Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service, answering questions, making recommendations, and promoting products through suggestive selling.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing for 55% of the shift, sitting for 0%, and walking for 45%. The job cycles are continual, with a maximum lift/carry of 50 lbs. The temperature range is from freezer environment to back room that is not air-conditioned, with exposure to weather conditions.
