Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you'll be responsible for handling and possessing knowledge of all deli products. You'll receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, package product, and stock shelves, cases, and bins, while maintaining neat and attractive conditions and properly signed displays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service and assist customers with their deli needs.
  • Receive, process, and prepare deli products, including slicing, weighing, and packaging.
  • Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area.
  • Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service, answering questions, making recommendations, and promoting products through suggestive selling.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing for 55% of the time, sitting for 0%, and walking for 45%. Temperatures will range from freezer environments to back rooms that are not air-conditioned, with exposure to weather conditions.
