Job Summary
The Respiratory Care Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner, performing a range of respiratory care procedures, including oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, and patient reporting. This role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
• Assist licensed respiratory care practitioners with respiratory care procedures
• Perform oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, and manual resuscitation
• Administer oxygen, humidity, and aerosol therapy
• Conduct small volume nebulizer therapy, MDI administration, and incentive spirometry
• Provide non-invasive mechanical airway clearance therapy and chest physiotherapy with suctioning
• Assist with arterial puncture and electrocardiogram (if performed by hiring institute)
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports

Requirements
• Training in Respiratory Therapy
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• College Courses in Respiratory Therapy
• Respiratory Care Assistant certification
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification

Work Schedule
• 7a-7p, Monday to Friday
• As needed, weekends and holidays
