Job Responsibilities:- Provide prospective clients with coverage options and offer multiple policies to ensure they are properly insured through consultative selling.
- Make outbound prospecting calls from lists and manage the prospect from initial contact through writing of a policy.
- Develop and maintain a strong client base through prospecting and referrals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the insurance industry regulations and trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Achieve sales goals and exceed performance metrics.
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
- Complete binding process for new accounts and bind accounts within authority or submit bind to carrier.
- Handle telephone, email, and in-person requests and correspondence.
- Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically.
- Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company.
- Active property and casualty license.
- At least two years of sales experience in the insurance industry.
- Articulate and professional voice on the phone.
- Self-starter, driven, and able to manage rejection well.
- Confident, energetic, enthusiastic with a sense of humor.
- Computer literate, type quickly and accurately.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Competitive wages between $20-$25, depending on experience, plus commission.
