Your Role and Responsibilities:
  • Strategically plan transportation for all truckload and LTL orders across designated shipping locations, ensuring routes meet the specific delivery needs of each customer.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for order consolidation into multi-stop truckloads.
  • Deliver exceptional transportation services to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with carriers for the pickup of purchased goods and interplant transfers to our distribution centers.
  • Collaborate closely with customer service teams, plant personnel, and carriers to address and resolve service-related issues.
  • Proactively seek methods to enhance carrier performance and prevent service disruptions.
  • Address any carrier-related challenges, including rerouting loads and managing in-transit issues, as well as handling overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and carriers to facilitate business process improvements and effective issue resolution.
  • Assist in the investigation of overages, shortages, and damages, working with transportation providers to determine product disposition.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in transportation operations is preferred.
  • Background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, planning, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with all levels of management.

Salary Range: $58,670 to $77,000
