Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Specialist - Medication Management to join our team.

As a Senior Care Specialist - Medication Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Medication Administration: Provide high-quality care by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.">
  • Documentation: Review, read, notate, and initialize daily logs to document and learn about pertinent information about residents.">
  • Communication: Receive medication updates from Resident Care Directors or Wellness Nurses.">
  • Passing Medications: Administer, assist with, and observe medications and treatments for each resident using the medication administration record and the Six Rights of Medication Pass.">
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all resident information, including resident medication.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • High School Diploma/GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some states may require certifications.">
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory; additional certifications may be required based on state or local regulations.">
  • Experience: Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.">
  • Skills: Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents, handle multiple priorities, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving abilities.">

Sunrise Senior Living offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, retirement savings plans, employee assistant programs, paid time off, sick leave, and holiday pay.
