Job Overview

Competitive Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Shift Availability: Full Time & Part Time, 2nd Shift - Must be 18 Years Old

The Public Area Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the overall ambiance of the Lodge, ensuring it meets or surpasses the standards set by Great Wolf Resorts and our guests. This position is responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of the resort's communal spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of public areas, including but not limited to: floors, carpets, restrooms, waterpark areas, elevators, windows, and doors.
  • Ensure elevator zones are kept free of litter.
  • Empty waste bins in shared spaces.
  • Understand and follow material safety data sheets for all cleaning chemicals.
  • Report any maintenance concerns in public areas.
  • Operate trash compactors and cardboard balers.
  • Engage with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as requested and return them to storage as necessary.
  • Assist with guest room cleaning as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications & Traits

  • Experience with cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to climb multiple flights of stairs daily and walk frequently.
  • Able to work with chemicals according to safety guidelines.
