Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team at ARDEX Americas. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category sourcing strategies to maximize value creation through the procurement process.
  • Support the development of raw material and packaging forecasts and effectively communicate market movements to stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Negotiate value-added agreements with suppliers to secure goods and services with advantageous terms for ARDEX.
  • Establish and manage effective relationships with key suppliers and business stakeholders.
  • Align and collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Sales, and other Procurement team members to evaluate business requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in category management and strategic sourcing, with a focus on driving cost savings and process efficiencies.
  • Ability to research and analyze data from multiple sources, including industry publications, market intel sources, and internal data.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with various competing initiatives and prioritize appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs required, SAP experience preferred.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, business, or related field required.
  • Relevant industry certifications (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, etc.) preferred.
