Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily chemical analysis and additions, maintenance, quality testing, and calibration of instrumentation and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily chemical sampling and analysis
- Execute the dumping and replenishing of chemical and rinse tanks
- Monitor waste treatment systems
- Conduct light environmental management
- Use statistical data control to monitor and improve chemical processes
- Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies
- Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the laboratory
- Operate a forklift
- High School diploma preferred
- Strong math aptitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to maneuver a full drum or barrel of chemical
- Successful completion of respiratory fit testing
