About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at LAZ Parking. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our parking facilities, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in managing and developing the location's team to achieve annual and periodic goals and initiatives.
  • Identify high-potential employees to support the organization's continued growth and development.
  • Support the Facilities Manager with payroll processing, scheduling, training, and other administrative tasks.
  • Responsible for financial management of assigned locations, ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and business retention strategies.
  • Assist with the opening of newly assigned locations and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Ensure maximum revenue, managed expenses, and customer satisfaction by maintaining high service thresholds and initiatives.
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of Team Leaders and frontline staff.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years in management or supervisory role.
  • Experience leading a group of 10-20 individuals.
  • Previous experience working in high-stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
  • Capable of handling employee conflict, following grievance procedures, mediating, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong customer service skills and abilities.
  • Ability to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.
  • Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges.
  • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
