Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, a 192-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. As a Staff RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, utilizing the nursing process to administer medications and treatments, and documenting patient information accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Report findings of ongoing observations and assessments to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager.
  • Deliver direct resident care, demonstrating knowledge of basic test/lab collection values and clinical skills.
  • Prepare resident assignments, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
  • Monitor and evaluate the flow of activity and delivery of patient care, positioning, bathing, and other essential tasks.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • New grad RN welcome to apply.
  • Possess a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and growth.
  • Knowledge of medical, social, and psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory and practice, and infection prevention principles/methods.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally with residents, families, and staff.
