This team is responsible for delivering audit services, reviews, compilations, and other agreed-upon audit procedures across various client sizes and sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engagement team in planning and executing audits, reviews, or compilations to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Oversee daily operations of audit engagements, including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and finalization.
  • Facilitate constructive feedback discussions with team members and provide guidance accordingly.
  • Supervise engagement teams on financial services projects, including hedge funds, private equity, investment managers, and broker-dealers.
  • Support the training and development of audit team members.
  • Research and apply specialized industry knowledge and accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing client service and audit processes.
  • Assist with billing and collections.
  • Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in the audit department of a public accounting firm.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • A CPA license is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the financial services sector.
