Position Overview:
As a key member of the IDEXX team, the Veterinary Pathology Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting one of the largest veterinary diagnostic organizations globally.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure the precise and prompt delivery of casework and related materials to remote pathologists.
- Maintain and troubleshoot virtual microscopy systems that facilitate remote viewing and digital slide analysis for pathologists.
- Organize and archive both pending and completed virtual microscopy cases.
- Develop and uphold standard operating procedures for the virtual microscopy systems.
- Monitor and document errors within the virtual microscopy systems.
- Collaborate with pathologists, laboratories, vendors, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve system issues.
- Conduct regular meetings and liaise with vendors.
Qualifications:
- 0-1+ years of laboratory experience.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Capable of creating and reporting on performance metrics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in delivering training sessions and presentations.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional client service skills.
