Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect supply cart and replenish as necessary.
  • Welcome guests with a warm and genuine greeting.
  • Remove soiled linens and used amenities from rooms and suites.
  • Thoroughly clean assigned rooms and suites, which includes making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows and tracks. Report rooms as clean and ready for occupancy. Notify maintenance of any deficiencies to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Restock linens and guest amenities.
  • Clean balconies, if applicable.
  • Address special requests from guests, such as providing additional amenities or adjusting service times.
  • Ensure that rooms and suites adhere to brand standards.

Supportive Duties:

In addition to the essential functions, this role may involve performing a combination of the following supportive tasks, with the percentage of time allocated to each determined by the supervisor based on the company's specific needs:

  • Deliver customer service to guests, including information about hotel amenities, activities, and local attractions.
  • Assist colleagues as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Physical capability to move large items such as carts and bags of linen.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and brooms.
  • Ability to read and recognize room and suite numbers.
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
  • Capacity to learn, adhere to, and enforce cleanliness standards.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and the ability to respond in emergency situations.

Important Notice:

The hospitality industry operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. This is a service-oriented environment, and a hospitable demeanor must be maintained at all times.
