Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment and possess a passion for preparing fresh, nutritious, and premium-quality dishes. This role provides a unique chance to learn from seasoned chefs and engage in the innovative development of our Culinary Program, emphasizing local and organic sourcing.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a professional culinary setting.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain food safety certification (training provided by the company).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient knife skills, knowledge of food identification, and ability to follow recipes accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute food preparation and cooking tasks for events as directed by the Sous Chef, including basic vegetable prep, sauces, stocks, meat preparation, and other advanced culinary techniques.
  • Organize production schedules over multiple days to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform kitchen stewarding duties such as receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen, adhering to safe food handling practices and proper product rotation to ensure quality and longevity.
  • Assist with dishwashing duties during kitchen operations and meal events.
  • Ensure compliance with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Recognize that job responsibilities may evolve over time, and we are open to adjusting the job description as needed.
