Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead our Sioux Center manufacturing facilities. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations while driving productivity and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead plant activities and collaborate with delivery leaders/managers to meet key objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement cost-effective systems of control over operating expenses, labor, COGS, waste, wages, and salaries.
  • Partner with scheduling and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and maintain appropriate levels of finished goods inventories.
  • Control the flow of materials and labor utilization to maintain adequate production levels.
  • Monitor and manage overall plant performance against safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
  • Provide leadership and training to the plant team to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Utilize critical thinking, forecasting, and data analysis to plan workforce and capacity needs.
  • Implement continuous improvement and Lean methodologies to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Provide strategic direction to elevate plant capabilities, processes, and systems for long-term success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, or Supervisor within a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to work across functional teams and with customers.
  • Experience in managing plant operations, driving continuous improvement, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; frequent standing and walking; use of hands for handling and reaching. Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

This role involves a combination of office and plant floor environments. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $110-140K + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility.
