Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team as an independent contractor.

About the Role

This contract position is designed to complement your current practice, offering a flexible schedule with a typical partnership involving treating patients on site for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist services, including EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries
  • Communicate with employers and take an active role in case management
  • Work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to expedite return to work and functional restoration
Requirements
  • Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries
  • Licensure requirements of the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance that covers you while on site
