Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Description:

The Electrical Foreman will provide on-site direction and leadership, ensuring the safe completion of high-quality projects within specified guidelines. Key responsibilities include maintaining productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, movement of manpower, procurement of materials, and other activities impacting project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Crews: Provide direction to ensure work is performed safely, delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain Productivity and Quality Control: Responsible for proactive procurement of materials and other activities related to successful project completion.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met and any changes or challenges are effectively addressed.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Determine the layout and installation of electrical systems using electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor Progress and Track Material Usage: Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Mentor and Train Team Members: Mentor electrical apprentices and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Commercial Electrical Experience: Minimum 8 years in commercial electrical field with increasing responsibility.
  • License and Certifications: Current Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman License.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated ability to plan effectively, order and track materials, perform cost projections, and understand National Electrical Code and installation methods.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
