About the Job

Robert Reiser & Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee various engineering projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of customized food processing and packaging equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, electrical skills, and excellent customer service orientation. They will work closely with sales teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, risks, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain schedules for design, manufacture, installation, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Manage equipment integration, including mechanical and electrical drawings and publications.
  • Coordinate with salesmen, Reiser techs, vendor techs, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Source and procure equipment, working with vendors to ensure proper specification.
  • Orchestrate FATs, manage projects through Reiser's shops, and coordinate changes to standard equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • Experience in managing capital equipment projects, including equipment from different suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of how machines work/run, 2D and 3D CAD experience (Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred), and team leadership skills.
  • Professional communication skills, time management skills, and negotiation and influencing skills.

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
