Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor 2nd Shift to lead our production team and ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating employee activities, training new hires, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate employee activities to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Train new and existing team members on equipment operation and software systems
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase yields and reduce waste
  • Validate critical control points and ensure adherence to quality assurance and regulatory procedures
  • Participate in scheduling and coordination of daily activities to meet production requirements
  • Report equipment malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting and repair
  • Initiate maintenance work orders and interact with the Process Development project team
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and facilities
  • Maintain production tracking records and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, food technology, or business
  • 2-5 years of experience in a food plant or related industry
  • Leadership experience and knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology
  • Experience with SAP preferred
