About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Lifespan. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of primary pulmonary disease.
  • Evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, including oxygen concentration, ventilatory volumes, and muscular strength.
  • Initiate and maintain life-saving measures in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • Rhode Island Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RCP) or CRT certification required; RRT preferred.
  • Associate degree from Cardio-Respiratory Care Program.
  • Current CPR certification.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
