About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Hematology/Oncology. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a physician to provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical examinations, and develop treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing, three years of clinical experience in oncology, and national board certification by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Responsibilities:- Provide independent, direct medical management of a defined patient population, according to standardized procedures and in collaboration with a physician advisor or supervising physician.
- Conduct physical examinations, applying the medical model and nursing process to patient care problems that require medical intervention and skill.
- Develop and participate in performance improvement activities to evaluate the program's effectiveness in meeting patient care and departmental needs.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the physician and multidisciplinary health team regarding patient information.
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Three years clinical experience in oncology
- National Board certification by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
