Job Description

As a Field Technician with Mosquito Joe, you'll be responsible for providing outdoor pest control services to customer yards. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our services.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Visually inspect and treat customer yards for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests
  • Explain services and procedures to customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain good customer relationships through outstanding service and communication
  • Maintain accurate records of chemical and operational activities in accordance with state regulations
  • Ensure service vehicles are clean and well-organized
  • Handle pesticides safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Complete pesticide certification requirements and continuing education as needed
  • Walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing over 60lbs. for extended periods in various weather conditions
  • Drive to customer locations safely and efficiently
  • Work flexible hours and be willing to market the Mosquito Joe service
Education and Experience
  • Valid and current certification/license for commercial pesticide application (may qualify to complete certification/licensing program during initial training)
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
