Job Title: Solar Equipment Drafter

Job Summary:
Consolidated Electrical Distributors is seeking a skilled Solar Equipment Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our Greentech Design Services department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality PV system permit plan sets using AutoCAD and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft ten to fifteen Photovoltaic permit plan sets per day using AutoCAD and Excel
• Provide feedback to manager on AutoCAD template and Excel tools to improve functionality
• Communicate proactively and effectively with Manager and Design Leads to ensure accurate plan set creation
• Manage and maintain progress in multiple projects simultaneously in the absence of direct supervision

Requirements:
• 1+ years of AutoCAD experience
• 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written – in English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction or trade experience

Working Conditions:
In-office work environment, work on a small team with multiple weekly check-ins
Work standard business hours of 8am to 5pm

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 annually.
