Trade Specialist Position in Baltimore

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Specialist I to join our team at the Maryland Department of Transportation.
This is a contractual position that offers some state-paid benefits and provides an excellent opportunity for career growth.
As a Trade Specialist I, you will be responsible for maintaining the Headquarters Complex facility and grounds, including emergency and routine complex duties.
You will work with contractors, consultants, and other divisions within SHA daily on essential equipment/projects.
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge and understanding of maintaining a facility and the grounds, as well as experience with emergency contracts and on-call contractors.
**Salary Information:**
The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience performing skilled trade work in one of the following areas: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, locksmith, masonry, painting, or welding;
- Knowledge and understanding of maintaining a facility and the grounds;
- Experience with emergency contracts and on-call contractors;
- Possession of a valid driver's license;
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time;
