Job Summary:

Pepper Construction Company of Ohio, LLC is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in assisting our construction team with various tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of duties to assist on the construction site, including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
  • Assist other tradespeople, such as carpenters, with tasks and projects.
  • Operate equipment as needed, including trucks and machinery.
  • Participate in selective demolition, concrete placement, and flagging activities.
  • Stack and assemble materials into bundles, and make simple repairs and adjustments to machinery or trucks.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with general clean-up, including vacuuming, sweeping, and rubbish removal.
  • Participate in selective demolition of non-load bearing walls, ceilings, and flooring material, and clean up of all demolition debris.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in commercial construction, preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification, preferred.
  • Operator's certificate, preferred.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and ability to multi-task.
  • Task-oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including some overtime, weekends, and night shifts.
