Job Description
The Document Management Specialist - Production will play a critical role in maintaining quality documentation standards and tracking engineering deliverables for our production and quality teams. This includes reviewing internal documentation, publishing internal documents, sending and receiving documentation from clients and suppliers, and maintaining databases recording these actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Documentation: Review and verify that internal documentation meets quality requirements
- Publishing and Distribution: Electronically review, stamp, and publish documents into AODocs and SAP
- Deliverables Management: Package, send, and track deliverables to/from clients, vendors, or production teams
- Compliance and ISO Standards: Understand and comply with ISO standards related to document control
- Vendor Drawings: Process incoming As-Shipped vendor drawings
- Production Folder Maintenance: Create production folder views, internal handoff sheets, maintain up-to-date project data within production folders
- COOIS Reporting: Run COOIS reports in SAP and maintain Release to Mfg. reports for MTKA & GLPH facilities (as backup)
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: College degree preferred; 3 years' experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or architectural environment
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, SharePoint, FTP sites, SAP, Google Workspace
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to create and maintain good rapport with engineers and clients
