About the Job:

As a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) with Gentiva Health Services, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing serious illness or terminal diagnosis. The estimated salary for this role is $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location. About the Role:

In this role, you will report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager Senior and maintain primary control and professional management of each patient. You will act as a primary liaison between physician, patient/family, and hospice team, providing direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family with a reasonable case load while providing a trusting and compassionate relationship with your patients and their families.

You will also empower patient's caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one, manage and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN or LVN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and support staff to provide comfort, peace, and dignity. Additionally, you will evaluate patient and family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patient, maintain all assigned patient clinical records, and participate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs.

About You:

We are looking for candidates with a hospice heart – compassionate, kind, and empathetic to your patients and their families. You should be comfortable providing care wherever the patient calls 'home.' It would be beneficial if you can demonstrate flexibility and composure while supporting others in a time of crisis. The ideal candidate should have RN license in the state of requested employment (or eligibility to obtain) and 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology strongly preferred.
