River City Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Attendance and Enrollment Clerk to join our team in the Sacramento region. As an Attendance and Enrollment Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate attendance records, communicating with parents and guardians, and supporting the educational mission of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records, schedules, and files to document student activities.
- Notify parents and/or guardians of student absences to meet County, State, and Federal requirements.
- Prepare attendance-related reports and written materials to support educational goals.
- Process discrepancy notices, correct errors in attendance reports, and change unverified absences to unexcused.
- Respond to inquiries from staff, students, parents, and other school officials in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve attendance and punctuality among students.
Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Mac computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, students, parents, and other school officials.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to the success of our clients.
