Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Part-Time LPN to join our team. As a vital member of our homecare agency, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of pediatric patients outside regular scheduled hours.

Responsibilities
  • Supervisory visits and education in a patient's home
  • Re-evaluation of patients skilled nursing/PSS needs
  • Work autonomously with minimal assistance by the Clinical Manager
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Make decisions based on established policies and procedures
  • Preparation of clinical progress notes
  • Informing the family and Registered Nurse of changes in the patient's condition or needs
  • Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician in accordance with currently accepted standards of medical practice
  • Total patient care
  • Patient and family teaching
  • Other services in accordance with and as outlined in the Georgia Licensed Professional Nurse Practice Act
Qualifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must hold a current unencumbered Nursing license to practice in the state of Georgia
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current Drivers License
  • Current TB Screening
  • Experience caring for medically fragile individuals
  • Experience in Home Health (preferred)
  • Experience in Pediatrics (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Georgia Pediatric Program, GAPP (preferred)
