Senior Underwriter, Asset Based Lending

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Business Development Officers to develop ABL loan structures that manage risk and conform to bank policies and procedures.
  • Prepare high-quality credit approval documents and deal screens that contain in-depth analysis and highlight identified credit issues, risks, and mitigants.
  • Lead due diligence process during credit approval, including stakeholder meetings, third-party reporting, and field exams.
  • Close commercial loans in adherence to bank policies and procedures, coordinating with legal counsel and assisting internal partners in the onboarding process.
  • Participate in projects to improve and streamline the credit delivery process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in ABL underwriting.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in pressure situations, meeting deadlines.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, with the ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to convey conclusions and rationales clearly and persuasively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to be organized, set priorities, and work with MSOffice product suite.
