The Associate, CRE Underwriting role at Bayview Asset Management is responsible for underwriting and closing commercial real estate loans originated by the company.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and perform in-depth due diligence on commercial real estate loans, including reviews of financial statements, tax returns, and third-party reports.
- Complete thorough cash flow analysis and ratio analysis, as well as commercial loan structuring and documentation.
- Prepare written documentation of loan terms, conditions, and narratives explaining the loan request and sponsor's business background.
- Work closely with various Bayview Asset Management departments to ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
- Perform site inspections and participate in coordinating responses to investor inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in a business, science, technology, engineering, or math field.
- Finance, business, or project coordination experience required.
- 3-5 years of CRE underwriting experience at a prior rating agency, insurance company, or financial institution preferred.
Bayview Asset Management offers a competitive salary range of $100-140k, with the opportunity for incentive compensation, including bonus compensation. This role will be based in Bayview's NYC office.
