AMETEK is seeking a seasoned Operations and Supply Chain leader to drive business growth and excellence in the Telular Division. As Division Vice President Operations, you will be responsible for building and optimizing an in-house manufacturing capability, leading Operations and Supply Chain activities, and driving Operational Excellence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead manufacturing, global supply management, distribution, and repair operations to achieve business unit revenue and profit plans.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategy and readiness to support business objectives.
- Establish metrics, measurements, and tools to improve efficiency and communication.
- Chair monthly operations/quality review meetings.
- Manage functional team leaders within the Telular BU: Operations & Test Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics.
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university, (MBA) preferred; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Operations, Supply Chain, or similar organization for a rapidly growing enterprise solutions company.
- History of hiring, developing, motivating, and mentoring a team capable of setting and meeting ambitious goals.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to set vision and strategy for Operations and lead the organization through large-scale change.
