Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Morristown, NJ.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek, requiring 8 hours of work per shift. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer and possess strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex specialized tasks in operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence, and ensuring relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
  • Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems implemented related to the modalities.
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification and assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
  • Independent decision-making skills.
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
